    Dutch Reformed Church/NG Kerk

    The first Dutch Reformed church was constructed in the shape of a cross where the present church hall is. The present imposing sandstone church was completed in 1926 at a cost of 12,000 Pounds. Contact Stanford Info for wedding arrangements.

    St Thomas Anglican Church

    Oldest church in Stanford and was built around 1880. The Moore family carved some of the pews and pulpit, and material for the thatch roof came for the surrounding area.
